At Kontozisis Organic Vineyards, winemaking is a craft deeply rooted in respect for nature, tradition, and authenticity. Since 1991, our family has been cultivating 140 acres of privately owned vineyards in Kanalia and Dafnospilia, at the foothills of the Agrafa mountains, following strict organic and biodynamic practices.

The journey begins with meticulous hand-harvesting of our grapes at peak ripeness. We focus on minimal intervention, allowing the indigenous yeasts to lead a spontaneous fermentation process in cement tanks, amphorae, or open vats. No oenological additives are used, and filtration or stabilization is avoided to preserve the wine’s pure character.

Each wine matures gracefully—whether on fine lees in cement eggs, in old oak barrels, or clay amphorae—developing complexity and highlighting the unique expression of our local terroir. Our wines are organic, vegan, and crafted with low sulfites, showcasing the true potential of Limniona, Malagouzia, and other indigenous varieties.

From vineyard to bottle, our philosophy is simple: to let nature speak.

We met Aphrodite and Andreas eight years ago, and we immediately started working together. Methodical and dynamic—Aphrodite in the international markets and Andreas in the vineyards and winery—they have rightfully earned a place in the hearts of wine lovers. “Clear Skies Fear No Bolts” is a true success story at Heteroclito, and this March, we’re proudly offering it by the glass.
